1. The roles and responsibilities of the Country Coordinating Committee are as follows:
    1. Coordinates the development and submission of Concept Notes to the Global Fund;
    2. Mobilizes multi-sectoral stakeholders to prepare and submit Concept Notes to the Global Fund that are aligned with national HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria strategies, and health and community system strengthening (HSS/CSS) priorities;
    3. Responds to inquiries from the Global Fund or the Government concerning these Concept Notes;
    4. For each Concept Note, recommends one or more Principal Recipients who will be responsible for implementing the grant, should the Concept Note be approved.;
    5. For each Concept Note, recommends process for selection of one or more Sub-Recipients who will be involved in the implementation of the project, should the Concept Note be approved.
    6. Oversees the PRs and Program Implementation through a permanent oversight body;
    7.  Provides guidance to the Government on any major changes in grant implementation, workplans, budget and performance framework that have been proposed by one or more PRs;
    8. Submits to the Global Fund consolidated funding applications; Recommends any revisions to this Governance Manual to improve the effectiveness of CCC ; 
    9. Ensures transparency in all process of information sharing and disclosure of Program information to the public by the PRs.
